MSRP Jumps $490 for Popular Nissan Compact
2015 nissan sentra
Looking to follow up a very strong 2014, the 2015 Nissan Sentra is at dealerships now with some serious content revisions and noticeable bump in pricing: While last year's Sentra was available at $15,990, the price of entry to the 2015 lineup starts at $16,480. Of course, that still undercuts all of the mainstream competition except for the Chevy Cruze and, for the base-level version of the 2015 Nissan Sentra, brings a newly standard USB port and automatic headlights.
There also are more significant revisions further up the line, albeit accompanied by further pricing changes, too. For example, the 2015 Nissan Sentra SV welcomes the 2014 Driver Package as standard content for the new selling season, which means adding the Nissan Intelligent Key system, six-speaker display audio with a 5.0-inch color screen, a rearview camera, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio; just remember that the SiriusXM subscription is extra. Similarly, the formerly optional Driver Package for the 2014 Sentra SR becomes standard on the new model, bringing the previously mentioned goodies as well as rear disc brakes.
The range-topping 2015 Nissan Sentra SL caps things off with now-standard features from the previous Leather Package, highlighted by a heated front row and leather-appointed seating throughout.
Other changes to the 2015 Nissan Sentra:
It's also worth noting that—as mentioned above—the Nissan Sentra will kick off the new year with plenty of momentum, posting 15,393 sales in December and driving sales up by 42.5 percent. For the year, Sentra sales soared 41.9 percent, reflecting 183,268 deliveries.
