2013 Ford F-150 FX4 Video Review

Ford’s F-150 has consistently been the best selling vehicle in the United States for many years now. With the 2013 F-150, Ford is looking to keep that streak alive with a range of improvements. Pickup trucks offer buyers a range of different body styles, engines, and trims to suit their needs. The F-150 is no different.

For starters, the F-150 offers a single, double, or crew cab with truck beds of varying lengths. Next up is engines and Ford has an engine for everyone. The base is a 3.7L Ti-VCT DOHC V6 producing 302 horsepower and 278 pound-feet. Next is a 5.0L Ti-VCT DOHC V8 producing 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet. That’s followed by a 6.2L iVCT SOHC V8 making 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet. Finally, the top dog in the F-150 powertrain family; a 3.5L Ti-VCT DOHC twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 with 360 horsepower and 420 pound-feet. All four engines go through a six-speed automatic to either the rear-wheels or all four wheels. As for trims, Ford offers ten different levels to suit a buyer’s need. There are the hard working XL and XLT trims; the fun STX and FX2/FX4; the luxurious Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited; and the truck that could conquer all worlds, the SVT Raptor. Pricing for the F-150 starts at $23,670 for the XL and goes up to $49,620 for the Limited.
