What Is The Nissan Traction Control System?

The Nissan Traction Control System (or TCS) is a system designed to help prevent wheelspin. When wheelspin is detected the system automatically reduces throttle or applies the brakes in order to restore grip and keep the vehicle under control and moving forward. The system works with the Vehicle Dynamic Control system (or VDC) to help keep the vehicle pointed in the right direction at all speeds.
