audi lane assist
Audi lane assist is a lane departure warning system that warns the driver when the vehicle starts to wander out of its lane. The system is designed to help prevent accidents on highways and interstates, and works at speeds above 40 mph. It works by detecting the lines on the road using a camera mounted on the front of the car, and becomes operational after the system detects road markings on both sides of the vehicle. Lane assist does not intervene on its own; when the system detects that the car is leaving its lane, it will vibrate the steering wheel to notify the driver that corrective action is necessary. The system is deactivated when the turn signals are active to prevent false warnings when you want to change lanes.
