Hyundai’s Santa Fe Wins Autoweb's Crossover of the Year Award

Picking the winner for Autoweb's 2013 Crossover of the Year award was a difficult task for the editorial staff since the group of finalists we picked ranged from a value oriented model to one that shows a crossover doesn't need to be boring to drive. In the end, we decided that the new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport would take the award. The new Santa Fe Sport is part of a crossover refocus done by Hyundai to remove the poor performers to let new models shine. The Sport takes place of the regular Santa Fe, which grows in size to take the place of the slow selling Veracruz. The staff liked the amount of standard equipment the Santa Fe Sport offers for the price, along with the choice between a 2.4L four-cylinder and turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engines. Autoweb's Editor-in-Chief Michelle Naranjo presents the award to Bob Pradzinksi of Hyundai at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show.
