Today, we’ve got more of Autoweb's Fab Fives of the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Autoweb's Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Naranjo, is talking about some of the best crossovers and wagons that were on display at this year’s show. We’re kicking it off with the Honda HR-V, a new crossover that’s generated a lot of conversation. This Honda delivers a comfortable interior and a sporty exterior, finished off with a lot of thoughtful details. Next is a new crossover from Mazda, the CX-3. It’s a bit smaller than Mazda’s CX-5 but it still packs a punch with a 2-liter Skyactiv four-cylinder engine and plenty of high-tech features. A pair from BMW marks the third spot on the list, the X5M and X6M wagons. They’re luxurious, fast, and functional, and they are both powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine borrowed from BMW’s high-performance M5 sedan. Each of these new BMW wagons boasts 567 horsepower. The 2015 Porsche Macan is a quick and nimble crossover that slots in under the Cayenne SUV. The Macan comes standard with all-wheel drive and several turbocharged engine offerings, including a diesel option. And finally, we saw the Volvo V60 Cross Country. This good-looking and functional Volvo wagon is the smallest Cross Country in the lineup. It boasts all-wheel drive, 250 horsepower, characteristic Volvo safety, and a projected 23 miles per gallon.
