The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is all-new this year bringing a fresh take to the brand’s flagship SUV. With seating for up to eight people and a beautiful, tech-forward interior, this luxury vehicle makes hectic family life a bit less stressful. Whether it’s a family road trip or running the kids around town, it makes it all easier.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, the Navigator offers strong performance with a smooth ride and a calm, comfortable interior. It has room for the kids and their stuff while still providing a serene, welcoming atmosphere for adults. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Lincoln Navigator.

Striking Exterior Design

The Navigator’s exterior is bold and sophisticated with sharp lines and a striking mesh grille that catches the eye. At 210 inches long (221.9 for the Navigator L), this is not a small vehicle. It grabs your attention without being brash and is an elegant SUV with plenty of presence.

A choice of unique wheels adds extra personality while features including power running boards and illuminated door handles add a little touch of luxury. The Lincoln Embrace lighting sequence welcomes drivers with a fade-on effect that is simply beautiful. The Navigator balances bold presence with refined details to create a lasting impression.

Opulent Interior Craftsmanship

The interior of the Navigator is a sanctuary of luxury with premium materials including leather seating surfaces and real wood trim. The standard 24-way power driver’s seat and 22-way power front passenger seat are supportive and comfortable for even the tallest and shortest adults. They’re also heated and ventilated with available massage to create a welcome refuge from the world outside.

It's an elegant cabin no matter where you sit, which is enhanced by the remarkable sense of quiet. It’s so quiet that even the driver can carry on a conversation with those in the third row without having to raise their voice. This year, two new Black Label themes, Enlighten and Atmospheric, deliver new options for increased luxury.

Powerful Performance

Under the hood, the Navigator’s twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 produces 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, delivering confident power. This is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly, even under hard acceleration, so passengers can simply relax and enjoy the ride.

Four-wheel drive is standard, and there’s a choice of drive modes depending on road conditions and your personal driving style. Available modes include Conserve for more relaxed handling and a focus on fuel economy, or Excite, which sharpens up handling and adds a more robust exhaust not. This mode made driving the winding roads outside San Diego truly enjoyable.

Incredibly Smooth Ride

A luxury needs to have a smooth ride, and the Navigator delivers. It glides over roads with remarkable composure, even when the pavement is rough and pebbled. Whether cruising down the highway, navigating city streets, or enjoying a leisurely country drive, driver and passenger alike will find it easy to enjoy the ride.

With an 8.9-inch ground clearance and a 41.67-foot turning diameter, it handles tight spaces with ease despite its impressive side. Seering feels light but controlled, enhancing maneuverability, but the unique steering wheel takes a little time to become intuitive. Rather than round, it’s more oval-shaped so you can more easily see the display. Give yourself a little time to get used to the shape.

Advanced Technology Suite

The focal point of the interior is a 48-inch panoramic display that dominates the Navigator’s dashboard. It offers customizable themes like Constellation and Tranquil so you can choose what you see. There’s also an 11.1-inch center touchscreen with Google Maps, Alexa built-in, and wireless smartphone connectivity. A Revel Ultima audio system with 28 speakers and 14 USB ports are the finishing touch.

It’s a lot of screen at first, but it’s surprisingly intuitive and not distracting. The right side has customizable widgets that are easy to change on a whim. There are also steering wheel controls that are two touchpads on either side that pop up a menu on the instrument cluster for easy navigation to key settings.

Spacious Cargo Versatility

The standard wheelbase Navigator has 107.0 cubic feet behind the first row, up to 69.9 behind the second row, and up to 22.9 behind the third row. There’s room for everything and a tow rating of up to 8,700 pounds when properly equipped. There’s also a new split tailgate for added versatility. If you have small stuff in back, leaving the lower portion up and opening the top ensures nothing rolls away.

Another great feature is a shelf built into the cargo floor. It easily lifts out to snap into hooks and create a two-level cargo area and has short legs that turn it into a table. Its final trick is flipping down to make a backrest, perfect for sitting and watching the kids at practice.

The Latest Version Of BlueCruise

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator prioritizes safety with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite, which is standard across the lineup. It includes blind-spot monitoring, automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and adaptive cruise control. There’s also the latest version of Lincoln’s BlueCruise hands-free driver assistance system.

Available on over 130,000 miles of highway, it now includes hands-free lane changes with a turn signal tap and in-lane repositioning. This slightly shifts the vehicle away from adjacent traffic, like large trucks. Lincoln also changed the system notifications to make it easier to see when it’s available. Already a solid system, these enhancements make it even easier and more intuitive.

Rejuvenate Wherever You Roam

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator includes a Rejuvenate feature that transforms this SUV into a sanctuary. It’s a multi-sensory program that runs for five or 10 minutes to help you relax and recharge. The program shows a choice of soothing videos on the interior screens and plays calming audio to match. It also adjusts the ambient lighting and Lincoln Digital Scent.

The whole cabin can enjoy the moment, but for the driver, there’s a bit extra. The seat adjusts, reclines, and activates massage. Themes include Waterfall Meditation, Aurora Borealis, and Elements for a spa-like escape to help you find your center on even the busiest of days.

Its serene cabin and premium materials offer an escape from the real world, while the smooth, powerful ride makes the drive one to enjoy. The 48-inch panoramic display adds a heavy dose of futuristic appeal, while enhanced BlueCruise makes driving less stressful.

It has great cargo versatility and new Black Label themes that create an enhanced sense of luxury. The Navigator stands out for its bold exterior styling combined with a calm, refined interior that embraces comfort and technology.
