2016 Volvo XC90 First Look Video Review

Autoweb's Joni Gray spent some time in Volvo's most important vehicle to date: the 2016 XC90.

The 2016 XC90 is a very critical vehicle for Volvo for two key reasons. First, the '16 XC90 is expected to be the company's best-selling model in a number of key markets, including the U.S. Second, the XC90 is the first Volvo vehicle to utilize the company's new SPA modular platform. This allows the XC90 to be both lighter and much safer than the outgoing model. There's a range of four-cylinder engine options boasting turbocharging, twin-charging (super and turbocharging), and a plug-in hybrid. Pricing for the 2016 Volvo XC90 kicks off at $48,900.
