2015 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI quattro Compact Luxury Sedan Test Drive Video Review

The first Audi A3 we got here in the States was little more than a Golf with a different body and a slightly nicer interior. Of course, Audi makes no secret its entry-level model is based on the VW’s platform. This new Audi A3 is a different story however. This model delivers the luxury quotient we’ve come to expect from the Audi marque, albeit in a smaller package. Further, there is a four-door sedan variant now, and coming soon will be a convertible as well. It seems Audi has grand plans for its smallest car. Our test 2015 A3 is powered by Audi’s 220-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing some 258 ft-lbs of torque. All-wheel drive and a six-speed automated manual transmission are standard equipment with this powerplant. Audi is also bringing the car to the U.S. with a 170-horsepower turbocharged 1.8-liter engine, as well as a diesel powerplant. Available features include WiFi, navigation, heated front seats, Bluetooth, a sunroof, smart cruise control, automated parking, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, automatic xenon headlights, and smart windshield wipers. Available safety equipment includes a front and rear parking sensor array, blind spot warning, frontal collision warning and mitigation, and lane departure warning.
