All-new Full-size Pickup Coming This Fall
Chevy has added much that’s new to the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, and that’s going to include a new trim level designed to catch up with the latest in luxury trucks from the brand’s arch-rivals, Ford and Ram. While the Blue Oval now offers the Ford F-150 Limited on top of its already ultra-lux Platinum model, and the cabin of the Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn has earned favorable comparison with the best of Bentley, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will counter with the High Country.
According to Maria Rohrer, marketing director for the truck: “High Country will be the top model in the Silverado lineup, with a higher level of premium features and materials with a rich, Western themed appearance. But at the same time, High Country is 100-percent Chevy truck, with the capability and dependability customers have relied on for more than 95 years.”
