2013 FIAT 500 Turbo Revealed at the 2012 Concorso Italiano

Tim Kuniskis, Head of the Fiat brand for North America, took a few minutes to talk to us about the upcoming 2013 FIAT 500 Turbo at the breakfast celebrating its arrival to our shores. The breakfast appropriately took place during the annual Concourso Italiano during the fantastic week of events leading up to the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. In a marquee tent surrounded by restored, vintage Fiat 500s, the Fiat 500T had a warm welcome from all who were there.

Set to be a slice of the consumer pie between the regular Fiat 500 and the Abarth, the Fiat 500 Turbo has the shares a lot of elements with the Abarth but has a little more refinement - or lack of ominous growl - depending on how you see it.

With available aftermarket products, the 2013 FIAT 500T could easily slip out of its more quiet shell or just remain a FIAT 500 with the soul of a sports car.
