Overview: The MKS is essentially the luxury version of the Ford Taurus. And sadly for Lincoln the new car sales figures continue to decline. It is expected that the new Continental will replace the MKS later in 2016. So expect to see McConaughey on your TV screens in the Continental while saying goodbye to the MKS.

The MKS Sedan will set you back between $39,010 to $46,000 before adding any options or accessories. All-wheel drive (AWD) and front-wheel drive (FWD) models are available.

Basic warranty coverage is for 4 Years or 50,000 Miles. Roadside assistance is offered for 6 Years or 70,000 Miles, with complimentary maintenance covering basic wear and tear offered for the first 2 Years or 24,000 Miles.

There are 2 different powertrain configurations available. All configurations run on the same fuel type and are paired to a single transmission. The 3.7L V6 Gasoline engine that is offered with a 6-Speed Shiftable Automatic transmission produces a maximum of 305 brake horsepower.
Or the 3.5L V6, Twin Turbocharged Gasoline engine that is available with a 6-Speed Shiftable Automatic transmission producing a maximum of 365 brake horsepower.

AutoWeb gives this model a rating of 4.5 stars out of a possible 5, based on aggregating available industry crash test data from NHTSA and IIHS. A blind-spot safety sensor with alert, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors as well as in-dash rearview monitor are available.
