Despite a "thermo-nuclear product war," Jim Press, President and COO of Toyota Motor Sales North America described the fourth-generation 2007 Lexus LS 460 as fully worthy of competing head-to-head with the best prestige luxury sedans of the world, and called it the "crowning touch" of Lexus's fully rejuvenated car lineup. While the 2007 Lexus LS 460 – and its longer stablemate, the LS 460L – is a great accomplishment, Lexus promised that a hybrid-powered model, possibly called the 600h, will appear at the New York Auto Show this April.
