2007 Chevrolet Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Replica Preview
What’s Under the Hood

Packed under the hood of the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Corvette Replica is an aluminum 6.0-liter, 16-valve, small-block V8 that’s good for 400 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 400 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,400 rpm. The LS2 doesn’t require premium fuel, though it is suggested for optimum performance. A six-speed manual tranny is standard and a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters is optional. The Pace Car Replica also features the Z51 Performance Handling Package, which adds an oil cooler, power steering cooler, and a performance-tuned suspension with unique front and rear stabilizer bars.
