Car Nominee: Subaru Impreza/WRX
With a more refined design inside and out, the Subaru Impreza took a tentative step toward the mainstream in 2008, one we hope is followed by a leap right into the pool with the rest of the automotive world. But please: leave the WRX out of it, for that’s one car that, like Robin Hood, is meant to play and frolic in the woods, on dirt paths, on tracks… Let the tame folk buy the Impreza. Save the WRX for where the wild things roam.
