Toyota Tundra – Best New Pickup: There’s big, and then there’s big, and then there’s Tundra Big. Designed for people who actually use trucks as trucks – meaning 40 percent or more of the truck market -- the Tundra offers a new 5.8-liter V8 engine, controls and compartments designed for work gloves and big hands, a 10,000-plus tow capacity and more. Even with all this, however, the choice between Tundra and the new GM truck line was very close, with the main difference being the powertrain choices. The difference? Six-speeds versus four.
