Dodge Hornet Concept

It’s interesting how naming a car after a mean insect, one that causes fear in many and is capable of exacting considerable pain, could possibly be a good idea. But for Dodge’s newest concept car, the Hornet, it works. It, too, is small, bearing a strong resemblance to the overall shape of a Mini Cooper, yet bears an aggressive stance and a scowling face accented by beady little yellow eyes. This is a much more accurate representation of the flying nemesis than was the AMC version of the 1970s. There’s no word on production of the Dodge Hornet, but there is room below the upcoming Caliber for a crosshairs-wearing competitor to the Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris, and Honda Fit.
