DEARBORN, MI - Ford has announced pricing for the 2005 Ford Mustang, and they plan to make good on their promise to a sell the base version of the car for under $20,000 -- and a 300-horsepower GT model for less than $25,000. At a starting price of $19,410, Ford officials hope that American shoppers who have lately shown a revived interest in passenger cars will once again turn to the Mustang, one of America’s most popular iconic cars from the sixties. By pricing the GT at $24,995, Ford officials are attempting to make the GT attractive to enthusiasts, muscle car fans and Mustang lovers with eight-cylinder power, an attractive retro exterior and newly designed interior.
