The 2008 Fit is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, or sports sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 5-Spd MT to the Sport 5-Spd AT. Upon introduction, the 5-Spd MT is equipped with a standard 1.5-liter, I4, 109-horsepower engine that achieves 28-mpg in the city and 34-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The Sport 5-Spd AT is equipped with a standard 1.5-liter, I4, 109-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 33-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2008 Fit is a carryover from 2007.
