GENERAL COMMENTS

" I usded to do a lot of rallies and autocross so I know something about suspension and this is as good as it gets. I am an ex mechanics and have driven Supras, T/As and others but this suspension is as good as any. The car will rotate in the middle of the turn like she's on rails. The engine is small but she has the power and as for fuel economy, I am getting 28 MPG on a not yet fully broken in engine [should go up]. This is for my daughter in college and between the warranty and the standard equipment list I am very happy. Best bang for the money. Everyone tells me they would buy another if need should arise. I am happy as yet!"
Mark K. (Massapequa Park , New York - November, 2006)

"Researched, researched, and researched...after loosing 13-yr old Ford Escort to old age. Competition could not compare in price, features, and quality, including Ford Focus (A disappointment to my all Ford stable). This car replaces my primary commuter car from home to Washington DC area, a 180 mile round trip. At six months old, my 4-dr, 5-spd has over 20K miles with no complaints. Suggest you get the Moonroof/ABS/Traction option which also adds rear disc brakes (not obvious from literature - I almost purchased 5-dr just to get rear discs when I didn't need the 5-dr). Car has performed wonderfully in my mix of high-speed and bumper-to-bumper interstate driving, with city driving around home on weekends. May start a new trend in my driveway."
Springfield , Virginia - August, 2006

"It was great! I thought I was in a mid-sized car. Didn't want to test drive a Hyundai, but so glad I did."
Chris S. (Gainesville , Florida - January, 2006)

"I loved the appearance of the 5-door, so I had to test-drive it. It is a standard, and I felt it had very nice pickup. Handles very well. I am not a giant at 6 feet tall, but has a lot of room and very comforable to drive."
Dan T. (Columbus , Ohio - January, 2006)

"This car rides smooth and very comfortable. Handles tremendously well. Quiet. Close your eyes and think your in a mid-size. THE WARRANTY IS THE BEST IN THE NON-LUXURY AREA OF THE INDUSTRY -- Hyundai stands behind the product."
Dan B. (Spotsylvania , Virginia - January, 2006)

GENERAL LIKES

"Suspension/ Handling" "Peppy engine with 5-spd tranny" "Price, warranty, quality, handling, acceleration, great equipment for a base model" "Price, sporty look, gas consumption, sound system, warranty" "Smooth handling, quiet ride. Rides, feels like a mid-size."

GENERAL DISLIKES

"Could use more power but adequate" "Softer suspension than expected, but very drivable due to grippy low-ratio tires" "Steering wheel sits lower than I like, but minor detail" "None right now" "Standard stereo could and should add an MP3 input."
