GENERAL COMMENTS

"Surprisingly more power than expected. Somehow I have a Rocky Mountain Edition and it is kind of posh for what I expected for a Jeep. "
Tack  C. (Hemet , California - June, 2006)

"I love it nothing is as fun driving as a wrangler is."
Mike C. (Bel Air , Maryland - February, 2006)

"The test drive was the best part of my Jeep experience. In the winter where snow piles were abound, the salesmen dared me to take on the challange of an 8 ft. pile. Up an over with ease. That is the only positive part of my story. Upon purchasing the thing I had about 1200 miles before the Cam position sensor went and it had to be towed in. After 2 weeks in the shop I got it back. 3 months later (4000 miles) The steering dampener went. Mind you it only saw highway driving and never went off road. It was replaced and shortly after, that one went as well. They replaced it with an aftermarket part but the steering was not the same. After a summer with the convertable top off most of the time, the leaks started. Upon the first frost the windshield cracked all by itself. The crack started from under the gasket and the warranty would not cover it. The tires at 24000 'Cupped' and the noise was unbearable. I finally traded it in for a 2006 unlimited and at 110 milse the transfer unit went. I'm trying to get my money back on it now and have hired a lawer. I would never buy a Jeep product again!"
Adam  B. (Dingmans Ferry , Pennsylvania - January, 2007)

"I purchased this vehicle in Feb.2005. At 1,300 miles the vehicle developed an oil pressure problem. The dealer replaced the Camshaft sensor. At 3,100 miles the dealer had to replace the engine as per Chrysler/ Jeep. At 6,200, the dealer had to replace both front brake rotors. I now have 8220 on the vehicle. So far'Knock on Wood' no other problems had occurred. And Chrysler did pay for that months car payment. The dealer ( Thompson Jeep) was the best. I do hear there is a recall on the automatic transmission. I have always owned Chrysler products since 1972. I feel Jeep should inspect the engines and components they use."
John S. (Abingdon , Maryland - December, 2005)

"This is my second Jeep. My first was an 1987 YJ made by AMC. I remember the 2 best days that i had with it...the day i bought it and the day i sold it. I recently picked up a 2005 TJ Rocky mountain. I was surprised by the amount of 'luxury' compared to my old one. I found the engine to be a little lathargic and the 6 speed to be a bit vague. I had a stress crack in the windsheild and it was replaced at no charge by the dealer. I have to admitt that i really do love this thing, despite its insaciable appetite for fuel. "
Morgan  W. (Beverly Hills , California - March, 2007)

GENERAL LIKES

"Elevated because of flash floods in Sou Cal and stereo" "4x4" "The waves from other Jeep owners" "The vehicle is an excellent vehicle-very smooth and quiet on the highway" "The style"

GENERAL DISLIKES

"It goes into heat everytime I near a gas station and non-locking hood. Due to gas mileage you need a second car." "Nothing" "The Jeep!" "That the engine needed replacement at 3,100 miles" "The ride"
