GENERAL COMMENTS

"My name is Ronald Smith & I own a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am that I bought in March of 2006. I have had NO problems with the car, & absolutely LOVE the way it handles & performs. One of my favorite features is the FANTASTIC FM/AM stereo CD player. I have kept track of my gas milage since I have owned the car, & I have run three tanks of fuel through it, with results of 17.7 MPG, on one tank, 17.5 MPG, on the second tank, & 19.5 on the third tank. The car handles very well on the road, & I would recommend it to anyone who is shopping for an excellent mid-size car."
Mena , Arkansas - January, 2007

"When I saw the car I thought it looked OK, but once I drove it I fell in love! It's appearance is not as flashy as some of the other muscles out there now, but it blows them away in the speed department. I love the comfort, handling, pick-up, and the sleekness. I drove everything considered in it's class only to find out the GTO is in a class all its own, way above the rest."
Tess P. (Stevens Point , Wisconsin - March, 2006)

"I fell in love with this thing, took it for a test drive (used), didnt think i could afford it but it is a steal of a deal, unbeliveable performance per dollar. go take one for a drive. I took off my spoiler and it really shows of the lines of the car. silver is dead sexy and I love the IRS. "
Daytona Beach , Florida - September, 2005

"1. The GTO is the coolest car available. 2. Great car for easy cruising and when the ricers challenge leave them in a pile of smoke. 3. The car is very comfortable. 4. The 6 speed is fantastic. 5. Likes to use fuel. Have been averaging about 13 in the city, but have had had several 200 mile interstate trips that have yielded low 20's at 75 -80 mph."
Bob R. (Okeechobee , Florida - May, 2005)

"I have a 2005 Cyclone Gray GTO in automatic form. This car is fast! Those journalists who have no clue how to shift give the 6 speed a rating of 5.0 in 60 seconds and I'd hate to see the false advertisement of the auto. The truth is the auto is slightly faster than the stick. It has the ability to hustle the car from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and there's a stopwatch inside the 2005 GTO to prove that point over and over again. The quality of the GTO is light years from any standard GM product. The move was highly intelligent to use Monaro as the platform base for the GTO. So for all the ridiculous statements that it ain't made in America, the truth is the engine and performance is as red blooded American as any muscle car from the 1960s. I'm not going to complain that it has Australian influences (they have hot blonde surfer chicks there). The fact is the Holden Monaro CV8 is the perfect platform to work from. Yes, they could have been slightly more aggressive in exterior styling. Thank God they didn't go all out retro, that would get old sometime and freshening would only ruin the original retro look. A stock GTO will stomp a stock Mustang GT anyday. The facts are there and sure the Mustang GT will win in the looks department because it's a chick's or a secretary's car. The GTO is about brute force and power. Big engine in a little car. The new GTO fits that image well but it is more sophisticated than the original. Don't get me wrong, I love the new Ford Mustang GT, but I like the GTO better. The fact I can fit adults in the back is an added bonus I never thought of until I took a ride back there myself. So nice to share the performance. "
San Antonio , Texas - April, 2005
