 Advice to buyer:

get the 2.5GT

 Detailed review:

i was looking for a car to lease as my company transferred me to Central VA. wanted something comfortable, economical and more importantly, would take me through the winters (and now hurricanes). my mechanic suggested this car. Mechanically, very reliable, stable, good power for a 4-cylinder, great short shift and tight clutch. seats are not as comfortable as my mazda 626, a little noisier, and not as tight fit (windows have wind noise, doors sound a little tinny when slammed shut). Ride is fairly smooth, stereo only fair (i would recommend upgrade to 2.5GT - i only got the special edition), A/C - heating very good, love the moonroof and driving it in bad weather makes one feel very, very confident. With the 5-speed and highway driving (i drive over 200 miles a day), i'm averaging 27 miles/gallon, so i don't feel as guilty as the SUV owners. Over-all, i would buy again, but get the 2.5GT.
