I have purchased 2003 civic coupe EX, and will have to agree to previous comments (reference to :(arnleua55@aol.com )about poor gas performance experienced , while driving this vehicle. I haven't performed detail tests indicating precise fuel consumption, but definitely they are way off the advsertized numbers.
This vehicle is American made, and driven daily in good driving conditions. Perhaps other opinions could accumulate here to create foundation for further investigation leading to recognition of the problem by Honda, and proper defect recall actions wil be taken.
