What's New for the 2005 Ford Focus? Significant updates to the 2005 Ford Focus keep it competitive. All 2005 Focus models receive a new front fascia, grille and headlamps. Sedans also get a fresh decklid, tail lamps and rear fascia. Interior upgrades throughout the 2005 Ford Focus line include a new instrument panel design, front door trim with storage and drink holders, a new CD storage compartment, secondary audio controls on the steering column and fresh colors and fabrics. Joining the 2005 Ford Focus line this year is a new ST performance sedan with a unique interior, a performance-tuned suspension and a 151-horsepower, 2.3-liter inline four mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Every 2005 Ford Focus gets a "ZX" nameplate, with the sedan wearing ZX4 nomenclature and the wagon badged as the ZXW. Two exterior colors are also added: Sonic Blue and Orange Crush.
