Editor's Advice: The Oldsmobile Bravada is essentially the same truck as the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, and now, the Buick Rainier. Isuzu also offers a version of this GM vehicle. The same smooth-revving inline-six cylinder engine making 275 horsepower powers all iterations. Holistically speaking, none are class leaders in the midsize SUV segment when compared to the likes of the Acura MDX, Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner and Volkswagen Touareg. Bargain prices and a free extended warranty for the Bravada may be tempting, but we recommend that you resist. Any Oldsmobile is likely to lose a significant amount of value as soon as you drive it away from the dealership, and the Bravada itself is average at best.
