Defect Summary:  PLASTIC FUEL GAUGE MOUNTING NUT MAY CRACK AND ALLOW FUEL TO LEAK FROM THE FUEL TANK.
Consequence Summary:  IF FUEL COMES INTO CONTACT WITH A HOT EXHAUST SYSTEM OROTHER IGNITION SOURCE, IT COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Corrective Summary:  REPLACE MOUNTING NUTS WITH NUTS OF AN IMPROVED MATERIAL.
